We live in a hyperconnected world which - ironically - is fuelling the current loneliness crisis.

We really believe it's returning to joining social clubs. It's no coincidence that some of the happiest countries on earth (think Finland, Norway, Denmark) have a really strong culture of social clubs.
Why are clubs important?
Because seeing the same people on a regular basis is the key to building friendships. Plus you all have a shared interest which is the foundation on which friendship is built.
It doesn't really matter what it is ... Mahjong, ParkRun, gardening, line-dancing, crochet, painting, chess, boardgames or (of course) a book club. The idea is to join SOMETHING.

Browse our library (5 years worth of book club reads!), listen to our conversations with authors, join the chats in our Facebook group, and best of all - meet up with other Birds all around the country!
Our Birds are the most friendly, welcoming, inclusive, KIND and thoughtful women you could ever hope to know. We read, laugh, discuss, cry, and share our 'one good things' every week with eachother.
We have pen pal letters zipping across the world, anonymous care packages being sent all around Australia to women who need a little extra love, and hundreds of groups meeting up in person in every state and territory (and even overseas!). We also meet online twice a month for a journal session and an arts and crafts workshop (you can join in the conversation or keep your camera off and just listen in!).
