Since 2022, Bec Sparrow and Jane Sullivan have been on a mission to help adults scroll less and read MORE. With a shared passion for books, ideas, and the transformative power of reading, they created Birds of a Feather – a vibrant, online book club for women that’s as enriching as it is enjoyable.
Together, they’ve guided thousands of adult readers all over Australia (and the world!) through thought-provoking books, lively conversations, and the kind of literary joy that lingers long after the last page.
Bec brings her warmth, wit, and insight as a bestselling author and friendship educator, helping readers explore life, connection, and human stories with heart. Jane is a high school English teacher and passionate reader, known for her uncanny ability to match the right book to the right reader – earning her the nickname “the book whisperer.”
Together, they’re devoted to creating a judgement-free, welcoming space where adults can slow down, dive into great books, and reconnect with the joy of reading.
