About Us
It was love at first improvisational interpretive dance for Clare Connelly and Ally Blake. The song was Love Shack; the event the Romance Writers of Australia awards night after party, and in that moment a beautiful friendship was forged.
Since then they have shared hotel rooms, brainstormed plot points, celebrated one another’s writing highs, talked books, co-founded the How to Write Academy - a warm, supportive, community and learning space for upcoming writers - and researched story ideas at many a winery.
Ardent advocates for the joy and import of romance novels, Ally and Clare recently represented Mills & Boon Australia for their 50th Anniversary celebrations on numerous platforms––including TV shows ABC News Breakfast and The Morning Show, a multitude of radio talk shows, and the Women’s Weekly.
Between them, Ally and Clare have written over 200 romance novels, selling near ten million copies around the world.
The opportunity to share that love, to read and celebrate tales in which women’s goals and dreams, challenges and triumphs, friendships and pleasures are placed firmly in the centre of the story, has Ally and Clare awash with giddy excitement.
And they can not wait to welcome you all to the joy, delight, and whimsy that is the Kiss & Tell Book Club.
